A Spark of Summer  Garden Retreat

 Flexible Week Retreat at The Garden Studio - Mon 17th to Sat 22nd of August
 

This is your summer reset in the heart of Vienna. Underneath the flickering leaves of our hidden garden, we invite you to a week of joyful movement, connection and summer rituals. Discover what makes you feel alive and ignites your spark. 

Our retreat is shaped by summer: that sparkly feeling of summer joy, the warmth in the air, the sound of the garden, the feeling of time stretching just a little wider than usual.

This week curates a journey of 3 parts that allows to strip away the noise, and get closer to that unmistakable spark of being fully alive.

What is all included in the A Spark Of Summer retreat:

 

Inner Summer Goodie Bag

Inside you will find meaningful tools that will accompany you through the week. A journal for your reflections, a card set to guide your inner attention, and small objects and samples that anchor the experience.

 

Part 1: Magical Summer Evening:
Flow into Stillness - 
Mon 17th of August from 20.00 to 21.30

 

The opening of the retreat sets the tone for the entire week. This evening is about remembering the feeling of being fully inside yourself, through movement, through heat, through stillness, through the soft magic of a summer night that holds you while you return to your own center.

As you step into garden it tastes like summer evening. Fairy lights flicker between the trees, the air is warm but gentle, and there’s that subtle soundscape of summer: birds settling, leaves shifting, a quiet hum of evening life.


The session begins with intention setting., inviting you to meet yourself exaclty where you are. From here, we move through a  dynamic yoga flow before gradually softening into long, slow yin stretches.

The body wakes up first. Through dynamic, fluid movement, you’re guided into energy - expanding, opening, letting things move through you. The garden becomes a amplifier: breath, rhythm, warmth, presence. You start to feel yourself more clearly.

Then, gradually, the pace softens. The intensity dissolves into longer holds, slower transitions, deeper breath. What was heat becomes space. The body starts to settle.

Finally, we arrive in stillness, into being fully inside yourself accompanied by the soft magic of a summer night that holds you while you return to your own center.

Part 2: Choose Your Joy:
Intentional Movement Across the Week - Tue 18th to Fri 21st of August (flexible)

After the opening evening has softened you into your body and quieted the noise, the retreat moves into its second layer. This is where the experience becomes personal, not guided as a group anymore, but shaped by you.
 

Across the week, you are invited to choose 4 classes from our full schedule. There is no fixed path. Instead, there is a field of options: different intensities, moods, and styles. Your task is not to “do more,” but to notice what calls you.

 

This step is deeply connected to finding inner joy:
follow what makes you feel most alive, and gently move away from what drains you.
 

So the question shifts from “What should I attend?” to something much more subtle:
“What feels like it brings me closer to myself?”.

 

Each class becomes a small act of listening. You are not trying to optimize the week. You are learning to sense your energy in real time. This could ofcourse also mean, intentionally leaving space to not do a session. 

 

The classes themselves become different doors into the same idea: aliveness through movement. Some will be expansive and strong, others grounding and slow, others playful or soft. 

 

After each class, you reflect:

  • Did this feel nourishing?

  • Did I feel more myself or slightly further away?

  • What kind of movement makes me feel alive?

 

Part 3: Wild Summer! :
Rhythmic movement & Ice Bath Release - Sat 22nd of August from 15.00 to 17.30

The final part of the retreat brings everything together and invites you to a slightly wild, fully honest experience! After days of opening, noticing, and refining your inner signal, this session is where it all lands: raw, honest, and fully embodied.

You are invited into an energy led session moved by music. It feels rhythmic, spontaneous, and makes you sense that you are fully alive.

This is where everything from the week starts to surface naturally. The energy you’ve built, the things you’ve let go of - they all find expression into a spark of joy.

And then comes the finale: the ice bath. You step in not as a performance, but as a moment of full presence. With your body fully awake, breath becomes your anchor. The cold water making you feel so alive!
